Steve Legg
Steve is the founder of Sorted Magazine.
Since 1988 he has travelled the length and breadth of the UK and 30 countries overseas, covering a staggering 1.5 million miles on the road, using a crazy mix of comedy, trickery and mystery to communicate the Christian message to young and old.
Steve passed away in 2024. His legacy lives on.

Val Fraser
Val Fraser is an award winning journalist with over 14 years’ experience working on staff in various demanding media environments. She has authored/edited thousands of articles including news, travel and features. Val has authored/contributed to ten non-fiction books. She began writing for Sorted Magazine in 2020, was appointed as Digital Editor in 2022, and following the closure of Sorted print magazine, became Editor of Sorted Digital online magazine in January 2025.

Chris Lowry
Chris Lowry is a community pastor and a doctor, based in Warrington. He is married to Katherine and they have three children. He also creates books and games at BeyondCataclysm.co.uk, writes for Tabletop Gaming magazine, and massively values his male friendships.

Tim Barnes-Clay
Tim Barnes-Clay is a freelance journalist with more than three decades worth of industry experience under his belt. He test-drives the latest cars and attends new vehicle press launches around the world. The dad-of-three has a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism and has been a presenter and producer at ITV. He has also worked as a radio reporter and continues to present videos and record voiceovers.

Bob Fraser
Bob Fraser has a professional background in design, construction and project management and also trained as a teacher.
He was one of the early pioneers of Contemporary Christian Music in the UK, recording two vinyl albums with popular country rock band ‘Canaan’, and playing with them at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. For a couple of years running, Canaan played support to Cliff Richard during his ‘Tear Fund’ concerts.
In 2017 Bob became Regional Director for Christian Vision for Men (CVM) in the North West. He supports a team committed to outreach and ministry amongst men and organises regional events for CVM. He also runs a CVM group.

Nathan Blackaby
Nathan is the CEO of Christian Vision for Men, a global men’s ministry. He loves skipping, boxing, riding motorbikes and his dog. He has lived in Brazil working with Teen Challenge and enjoys trying to keep his Portuguese going.

Martin Carter
Martin is a professionally certified leadership coach. He works internationally with individuals, groups and organisations helping them to make a bigger difference in the world. He is also the founder of ‘A Brush with Coaching’ a free online resource offering coaching support and encouragement to anyone seeking to live a more purposeful and impactful life.

Jon Cobb
Jon Cobb runs independent financial advisers Trinity Wealth Management. A lover of Portsmouth Football Club, coarse fishing, all things Northern Soul, and his family.

Ken Ferguson
Dr Ken Ferguson is a GP based in Glasgow with many years’ experience of working in varied roles across the NHS. He has a professional interest in facial aesthetics as well as general practice. He is a keen runner, enjoys cooking and is an enthusiastic dressmaker.

Andy Flannagan
Andy is executive director of christiansinpolitics.org.uk and takes the message of positive political engagement around the UK. His book, Those Who Show Up, has inspired many people to get involved in politics.

Andy Godfrey
Andy Godfrey is a full-time speaker with Outreach UK and has been in full-time Christian work for many years. He is a founding member of the Mark Kermode Appreciation Society and has a collection of nearly 3,000 movies. He’s also an ardent Bristol City fan.

Peter Horne
Peter Horne is a qualified life coach with a passion for helping people change stuff in their lives when they feel stuck. He works with both individuals and organisations and is married with four children. Peter is a member of All Saints Church in Littlehampton.

Lee Jackson
Lee is an award-winning motivational speaker and presentation coach, and author. Book number 13 – Get Good At Life – came out in 2023.

Chris Kerr
Chris is a husband to Alicia and father to Thea, who is the subject of his columns on Fatherhood for Sorted. In his spare time he works for a national law firm in an executive capacity, provides crisis leadership consultancy support for non-profits across the UK. He attends Urban Crofters Church in Cardiff. A keen weekend adventurer, Chris is regularly spotted in the sea or on mountains.

Ian Kirke
As a kid, and latterly a dad and police officer, I realised that I have an almost endless list of things I want to make sense of. I suspect I am not alone.
Hopefully, as a law graduate and post-graduate criminologist, my life observations reflect a degree of authenticity and balance – but I’ll allow you to judge that for yourself. Synthesising humour, grief, horror and hedonism, I think I’m an all-rounder!
I am also a frustrated speedway promoter, passionate Notts County fan and part-time philosopher.

Jeff Lucas
Author and speaker Jeff Lucas travels internationally in a ministry of Bible teaching which carries a specific vision to encourage and equip the church. He is the author of over 20 books. He writes a monthly column for Christianity Magazine, as well as daily Bible notes entitled Life With Lucas.

Louis Mason
London-based Louis has always been passionate about writing and creating content, which comes in handy in his day job as a content and marketing director.. Louis has written for national magazines and international news outlets both digitally and in print. He joined the Sorted team in 2020. His main interests are conducting interviews with intriguing and inspiring people, and writing about metropolitan life.

Miles Protter
Miles has worked with thousands of people as a mentor and coach and now runs The Values Partnership, a professional mentoring practice, together with his wife Deborah. He’s also founded Men’s Business, a not for profit, dedicated to men connecting with each other, listening and learning together how to navigate life well.

Sue Rinaldi
Sue travels nationally and internationally as a concert artist, worship co-ordinator, speaker and creative consultant. A self-confessed info junkie and movie enthusiast, her interest in culture, justice, technology and the future fuels her living and writing.

Tony Vino
Tony Vino is a professional comedian who straddles the world of comedy clubs, festivals and churches.
